Dear family and friends,
On Monday May 9th, our lives were turned upside down when Grace was diagnosed with Leukemia. Previously in the week, Lenorr noticed some weird spots on her legs and neck, and she decided to take her in. With the initial diagnosis of leukemia, she was flown to the Children's hospital in Minneapolis on Monday night for further testing. The tests have revealed that she has acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) type b. She will continue with tests this week to determine the course of treatment. They are expecting 28 consecutive days of treatment when she starts. At some point, Lenorr and Grace will move to the Ronald McDonald House for the treatment period. This will allow for a more comfortable setting, and for the rest of our family to come visit. We will use this page to continue updates, but for now we are still taking it all in day by day.
