GRACE Kendzierski Grace Kendzierski

Grace Kendzierski is a 9 year old little girl who is a fun-loving and just all around brave individual. Grace was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when she was 16 months old and has been a trooper ever since. Type 1 diabetes is an auto-immune disease where your body attacks itself and destroys all of the beta cells in your pancreas, causing individuals to have to rely on shots or insulin pumps to stay alive. In order to stay healthy and well, alive, Grace needs to check her blood sugar every time she eats and be given insulin for the amount of carbs eaten. Although a manageable disease, it takes a whole lot of work and discipline. Although Grace has diabetes, she doesn’t let it slow her down. Grace is active in dance, triathlons, has done many 5ks and is on a local softball team in Carrollton—The Mighty Ladybugs!
They are in need of funds to practice on a field and uniforms to wear:) Could you spare just $5 in coffee money  or  special beverage $ to help Grace and these other precious little girls? As they want to do what they love! JUST PLAY BALL!!!!
