Welcome to our CaringBridge site. It has been created to keep friends and family updated about our loved one.

My Story is the introduction to our CaringBridge site.

Be sure to read the latest in the journal, view the photo gallery, and drop us a line in the guestbook.

First and foremost, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to family and friend for all the prayers and support. We wouldn't be able to get through this without all of you. Thank you so much and please continue to pray for Gracie's recovery.

Grace was diagnosed with Wilms tumor, stage 4 on April 2, 2007. On March 30, 2007 she underwent surgery to insert a central port, take a biopsy of bone marrow, and a biopsy of the tumor on her right kidney. She also received a CT scan which indicated she had lesions in her lungs. The tumor itself is "football size" therefore, compromising her surrounding organs. The oncology team decided the best protocol/therapy would consist of chemotherapy, surgery, and possibly more chemotherapy, and radiation.
