In november 2014, I had a hysterectomy due to "fibroids".  the fibroids turned out to be a rare and agressive cancer called leiomyosarcoma.  I had aggressive chemo at the time and came out victorious.  November 2016, once again I started having pains in my abdomen.  Dr s thought it was all caused by diverculitis.  After several trips to urgent care, ER etc and being on antibiotics for more then 20 days... My PCP decided that I needed an ultrasound which came back suspicioous for reoccurance of the cancer.  I will be going back to the cutting board on monday Feb. 6.  Right now the plan is to take out both ovaries one of which has the reoccurance.  While in there they will explore and take out and modify anything they need to at that time.  I will be in hospital anywhere from 3-7 days...   See updates...
