Our beautiful Grace suffered an aneurysm and subarachnoid hemorrhage on August 28, 2017. She was taken by ambulance to Queen of the Valley Medical Center and a couple of hours later airlifted to UCSF, where she is currently in the intensive care unit. The night of the 28th she underwent lifesaving emergency surgery to evacuate the blood from her head and clip the aneurysm.
The doctors report that the surgery was difficult and they feel that the aneurysm, that was deep in her brain, was congenital in nature. Grace had been having headaches for a few months and had been seen several times by doctors, including once in the ER. Each time she was told the pain she was having was pain from her wisdom teeth that needed to be removed. Sadly, this delay in diagnosis has left her in critical condition fighting for her life.
Grace is in a coma. Her son, who will turn 3 this month, misses his mommy. We miss her dearly. Thank you in advance for your love and support during this really difficult time.
