Gordy Peterson

First post: Oct 14, 2016 Latest post: Jun 23, 2018
Gordy was diagnosed with Grade IV Glioblastoma Multiforme, which is a form of brain cancer in August.  He underwent an awake brain surgery and the doctor removed as much of the tumor as possible.  The goal after his recovery was to treat the remaining tumor cells with radiation and chemo in order to "put them to sleep" and keep them from multiplying.  Unfortunately, he's hit a few bumps along the way, with a detached retina and most recently a stroke, but he's been strong and is putting  everything he has into getting through this difficult time.  Please watch for Journal entries to find out the most recent information regarding his journey and treatments.
