In October 2016, Gordie was diagnosed with liver cancer. On November 25th, family and friends joined with him in celebrating 90 years of life through stories and photos (and lots of yummy birthday cake made by Kathy S.!). On December 8th, the 90 years were official as Gordie celebrated his birthday in smaller, one-on-one gatherings.
Wonderful care continues for Gordie at the Minnesota Masonic Home.
