Glory Rose Leonard was born July 4th 2017 at 8:32pm. 5 pounds 13.1 oz, 18 inches long. She has Down Syndrome.  We found out at at 14 weeks pregnant via a Panorama free cell DNA test that Glory had a 91% chance of being born with Down Syndrome. The prayers started immediatly!  Thank you to God for blessing us with our baby girl.  As a family we know that Glory has a rougher road ahead of her, but we feel up to the challenge.  We are trusting God to equip us for the hard stuff and also Thanking Him for the many blessings Glory will bring to us because of her Downs.  My perspective on it changed in nursing school when I learned that Down Syndrome people self report being the happiest people group on earth!
A huge thank you to all our friends, family, and church family who supported us through the pregnancy (we needed a lot of hands on help) Thank you especially to everyone who prayed for Glory's health. Including: family, friends, church family at Wellspring Christian Fellowship and the Hood River Vineyard, prayer teams at the Spokane Healing Rooms, and multiple prayer teams from the Yakima Healing room.
