We are using this space to keep family and friends updated in one place. To start: My dad wasn’t feeling well the week of November 15. His cough was getting progressively worse as the week went on and he was light headed, which resulted in him losing his balance and falling.

My mom took him to the hospital on the morning of Saturday, November 20 and soon after, they admitted him. He tested positive for Covid and was struggling to breath normally.

From there, they put him on oxygen, steroids, lots of meds, and hooked him up with IV’s.

After about 5 days, he was still struggling, so they transferred him to the ICU and increased his oxygen to the maximum. He has been receiving top notch care, and the ICU medical team treats him like family. We are SO incredibly thankful for them.

He’s been very weak, but still manages to smile and be sarcastic here and there. He’s a fighter and is working so hard to beat this Covid pneumonia.

He’s been mostly stable, but in doctor’s terms, “critically ill”, as I write this initial post on November 29th. I will update you all on this site as things progress. We are hopeful and we know that God is watching over my dad. God has blessed our family so richly and know He will never leave our side. My dad is stubborn and he’s strong. We know he can beat this!! He has so many loved ones praying for him. Thank you for following along. ♥️
