Glenna was diagnosed with stage 4 Ovarian cancer on January 17th and started treatment at UW Hospital, through Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. She has already had one of three chemo treatments, which will be once every three weeks. Then, she will have a rescan to see what progress the chemo has made. Surgery will follow to remove the ovaries, appendix, and "caking" (tumors) around her stomach lining. There are also spots on both lungs and on the liver that the Dr's are optimistic that the chemo will kill. We know this is going to be a long journey, but have faith that God is in complete control. Updates will be shared on this website and a meal train has also been set up, with added dates as needed. We are using this CaringBridge website as the best way to keep family and friends updated. We appreciate your prayers, support, and words of hope and encouragement.
