Gleneva “Ginny” Wardius
Welcome to mom’s CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your love, support, words of hope, encouragement, and hugs. In the early months of 2017, mom’s health needs were beyond the care we could give her in her home. This past year, she was officially diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, a form of Dementia. Her decline has been gradual. However, that spunky, social butterfly, kind woman shines inside her, and we get to see it in glimpses and at the most surprising times! She has lost the ability to walk, along with all daily self care a human learns in the first years of life. Jacky, June and I take turns each day visiting mom, helping with feeding her at lunch/supper, talking with her that has become difficult mostly to understand on both sides. We honor her and her life. We embrace your love for her and the joy or listening ear she’s given you throughout her lifetime.
