As many of have heard Larry, Deb and Liza have had an unexpected and challenging year so far. Starting with Deb's cancer diagnosis, emergency surgery and treatment early this year.  Then in May Larry was diagnosed with cancer, had emergency surgery and has also started intensive treatment.


 If you know this family, you know how giving, loving, and supportive they are to anyone that needs it... And you probably know that they will never ask for help. So we are going to just give it to them! Before Larry's diagnosis I was putting together volunteers to bring them meals, now with both of them going through chemo the last thing I want is for them to get buried in casseroles they don't even feel up to eating. So this is what they need; anyone that can be 'on call" to help Liza with tasks that Larry would normally handle, or she would help him with (mowing the lawn, taking truck loads to the dump, running errands, etc.) Walking their sweet dog Roscoe once a day, during the week (you can sign up for that in the 'Ways To Help' calendar.) Instead of bringing them meals, pick up a gift card from UberEats, Cafe Courier, etc. with their treatments their appetites are unpredictable so allowing them the ability to chose when/what to eat would be way more useful. Also sending them care packages with healthy snacks, or things to entertain them would be great! 


I will update this with new information and any new ways to help as things change. They do ask that people not come over to the house, they are exhausted most of the time and just trying to rest and heal. But please do send them cards/texts/emails and even the occasional phone call to let them know they have lots of love and support coming their way!
