I am a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother and a grandmother.  I love my family but the first love of my life is Jesus Christ.  He has been the center of my life since I was a young girl and just like many of you I have clung to him and walked away from him at times.

He called me to a work as a non-profit leader, visionary, and community champion for poverty initiatives. I have been blessed to serve as the Executive Director/CEO of the Evansville Christian Life Center for over 11 years, I have worked to leverage relationships and community resources to bring about awareness of poverty issues.  Which also led me most recently to author a book  The Community I See - Why I have hope for a better Evansville.

Hope is something we all relate to and cannot live without.  Without my faith in Jesus Christ I could not walk the path God has chosen me to walk.  He is my Abba Father, My Savior and My Redeemer and He will be with me on this new journey.  Because of His love, His grace and His mercy I know that I will find VICTORY in this battle against Cancer.

Matthew 19:26 Jesus said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”

Yes, CANCER!  Those are the words we all dread to hear.  Being a pretty healthy person I was a bit shocked.  But I can tell you that with Christ leading the way, my family and friends I know how the story ends.

I look forward to playing golf with my husband, Greg and spending time with my sons, daughter-in-laws and 5 granddaughters. To God be the glory.
