On 8/17/17 they found a grade 4 GBM (brain cancer). Half die in 16 months, 5% make it to 5 years or later. I plan to be on the front of the curve! 🙏🏻👊🏻📉
 
Surgery on 8/25/17 was very successful, but with GBM the microscopic remnants want to come back aggressively.
 
I told the surgeon while he was in there to fix my golf swing⛳️, but I think he deactivated my pack-rat gene, which is a good second choice! 😁  I am feeling great! I am being SUPER productive at home, purging a lot of junk, decluttering, donating clothes, and it feels GREAT! 😀
 
Also, I am loving being more intentional with teaching moments with my 4 kiddos. 👬👫


Throughout all of this, God and you, His prayer warriors, have kept me peaceful! I trust His perfect plan for me🙏🏻✝️. His grace and your prayers 🙏🏻 are SO wonderful! You all have uplifted me BEYOND words!
 
Please pray for a complete 💯% healing, no matter how unlikely it may be. He can do it.  

Please also pray for my wife, 4 kids, mom, dad, & 2 sisters if you would, AND for this completely new ketogenic diet I just started, tough 😳for a lad who has a wicked sweet-tooth! 🍭🎂🍨  But with a cholesterol issue, I had eliminated for many years eggs 🍳, beef, cheese, etc. that I now enjoy routinely! Had to double my statin dose💊💊!


Two GREAT 👍🏻silver linings prognostically:
1. I am very healthy so I should be able to tolerate all the chemo & radiation that the docs want me to get
2. 100% gross total resection of the tumor.
