I was diagnosed with Scoliosis when I was eight years old. My family history and unusual curve pattern were risk factors for progression in the future, so I had to wear a brace for several years. Unfortunately, my curve progressed to 57* and I now need spinal fusion surgery to stabilize my Scoliosis. My surgery will be on August 23rd, 2017, and I will be fused from T4 to L2.
