Slowly on the mend. Some problems with blood pressure and pulse. Plenty of gut pain to share but just enough overall feeling of improvement to be encouraged. If the organ pain and discomfort would subside I'd be ready to roll. Doctors say a "few more days."

(Hope you enjoyed my note this morning...you know, the one I wrote and then creatively deleted. ^%#&*@#% drugs and lack of full consciousness.)

Sleep is a foolish passion of the healthy. I haven't had more than 1-1.5 hours of sleep in a session since the surgery. How the heck can one gain strength without sleep...speaking of interruptions...here's the BP nurse..

BP is 146/80 ...best yet...110 pulse...if they would just get me back on MY meds that would be fixed...107 sugar... best yet but that is with shots of insulin. Still a way to go but I think I'll be outta here by Sunday. God knows and will let me know in time.

Your prayers are very real and powerful. Keep them coming...it means the world to me. See y'all soon.

Love and appreciation,

Gerry
