George and his wife, Nelia, currently live in the Philippines, near Nelia's son and his foamily. George's still-living siblings all live in the US (KY, TN, and MD). The Philippines are on the opposite side of the world from the eastern US, making them 12 hours ahead of US EDT and 13 hours ahead of US CDT.


George's sister, Martha Seeley, received this message from George's step son on Monday, September 27, 2021:

I am Dr. Mario Onagan messaging on behalf of my mother Nelly Kendall would like to inform you that George is currently admitted in the hospital due to Pneumonia Sepsis and acute renal injury. He was also diagnosed to have Myelodysplastic syndrome secondary to post chemo and radiation therapy.
