Well, I'm still in the "wait and watch" mode as my tumor marker is still positive... I will be seeing my PCP and endo later next month.

In September, during a routine appointment with my endocrineologist, He found a lump in my Thyroid Gland.

After more testing in October it was confirmed that I had Thyroid Cancer.

On November 2nd I had surgery to remove my thyroid. More cancer than we were expecting was found. Part of my parathyroid gland, and a mass in the right side of my neck were also removed.

On November 10th Janice and I went to my first post-op appointment. During that visit we found out that the cancer is at Stage 4. This means it will be harder to fight; but not impossible to cure!

On November 13th Janice, the kids, and I are going to an appointment with my endocrineologist; we will be finding out what we do next.
