Welcome to my CaringBridge site. With the help of my sister, Carlynn and my husband Tim, we have created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

In May I was having some lower abdomen discomfort.  After seeing my doctor a ultrasound was ordered and a mass was discovered.  Surgery was recommended and on June 8th I had a total hysterectomy,  My surgeon informed me that the mass was the size of a small football, no wonder I was so uncomfortable.  Tests were completed and I received the diagnosis of ovarian cancer. 
 
The last few weeks I have appreciated the generosity of my husband, family and friends who have called, txt'd, and emailed to check in about what's happening and offer support.  I hope that my website will continue to keep you up to date.  Now more than ever I will need a posse of support.
