As many of you know, my mom has been suffering from congestive heart failure for several years. Back in February, we received the dreadful news that all options for "fixing" her heart have been exhausted. At that time, we were told she would have up to six months left to live. Since that time, her decline has become more and more rampant. Sadly, her end of life is drawing very near. I decided to create this CaringBridge website to document the last moments of her life, and to keep family and friends updated in one place.
On a side note, Mom LOVES to receive good ol'-fashioned snail mail. It would be great to flood her room with cards, and notes of support and encouragement. If you should feel inclined, please drop something off in the mail to her at the below address. You do not need to include a room number, as all the mail is delivered to one place and they look up residents in the computer to determine where to deliver it. However, even though she prefers to go by Gen, please use her full first name (Genevieve) when addressing the envelope since that is what they have her listed under in the computer.
