Tuesday, February 23 started as a normal,beautiful day in Peoria,AZ.  We had our morning coffee and went for a walk. We did some shopping and were unable to reach Gene so we went to the house and found him in a confused state.  The ambulance was called and he was transferred to an ER facility in Peoria.  HE was assessed there and airlifted to Abrazo Central Hospital in Phoenix. Gene has been in ICU there since Tuesday. He was diagnosed with a severe brain hemorrhage.
