On Tuesday morning, January 24, I was getting ready for work, when. my left leg decided to buckle. My legs are weak due to a tumor I had removed from m.y femoral nerve in 2011. My legs buckled and I fell hard, hitting the floor first with my left shin. I knew something was seriously wrong , when I couldn't move the leg without crying out. So my dear 93-year-old mother called the paramedics, and I was whisked off to Huntington Hospital, and here I sit, awaiting transfer to a rehabilitation facility where I can concentrate on physical therapy.
My friend Laurel was kind enough to set up this CaringBridge page so that people can help my mom with errands such as going to the doctor ,errands such as going to the doctor going grocery shoppinggoing grocery shopping, Coming to see me, or whatever other help she might need. I'm fine, I'm being taken care of. My mom, Thelma, is the one that could use the help right now.
