On Thursday August 27th Gayle received the diagnosis that no one expected. The doctors said she has Acute Myloid Leukemia. She is currently at Methodist Hospital Rochester, and expects to be there about a month. She meets with the doctor tomorrow and they will start her treatment plan. Right now she does not want a lot of calls or texts, but always appreciates cards, letters, or care packages. Also she is not allowed to have flowers at this time.
