We've created it to keep friends and family updated on Gavin.
Gavin is 10 years old. He was diagnosed April 14th, 2016 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) Cancer. This type of cancer has an extremely high survival rate. Gavin's Aunts will keep this page current, to keep family and friends updated on his 2.5 - 3 year treatment plan. This is going to be a rough road. Seeing Gavin's life take such a drastic turn from what was normal just last weekend is heartbreaking. We ask for you to pray for him, his Mom (Patti) and his big brother Bradley (16yrs old). Gavin's best friend is his 1yr old dog, Buddy, we are thankful the doctors let him see Buddy before he had surgery to have a port put in his chest & start of his first chemo treatment on Friday, April 15th.
Gavin has received multiple blood and platelet transfusions since being admitted to the hospital Monday, April 11th. We now realize how important it is to make donations to the blood bank. If you have ever thought of dontating blood please do, we as a family realize now how important it truely is! Thank you for taking the time to visit this page. We will keep it updated often, so we have one place that everyone can keep up on Gavins progress. xoxo
