Born March 2nd, 1942, Gary Stephan Steinhauer let it be known how proud he was of growing up on North Drexel Avenue. Prior to graduating from Howe High School, Gary was the Drum Major for the marching band and an accomplished alto-saxophonist. And as a member of the Sparkletones, he delighted 10’s of people...yes...really...tens of people with the big band sound. Post graduation, Gary served our country in the United States Navy from 1960-1962.  After a career in the home inspection business, Gary relocated to St. Petersburg where he became a Disaster Relief inspector and a successful real estate professional with Century 21 Coast to Coast. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Steinhauer and Helen Stockton, and his brother, Carl F. Steinhauer, and his faithful companions, KiChaun and Chanel.  Survived by:Indiana Family - daughter, Kirsten Kairos (NY), son, Eric Steinhauer, daughter-in-law, Andrea Kramer and granddaughters, Lily and Sophie Steinhauer, sister Lois WilsonFlorida Family - Partner of 15 years, Beverly DiMarino, and her family, Patrick and Michelle Harland, granddaughters, Averi and Ashlyn Harland, Amanda Harland and Teresa Patterson, granddaughter, Teagan Patterson. No formal services will be held. Celebration of Life to be determined in the near future.
