Gary Steege

Gary & I are presently living in Rochester Minnesota, @ the Hotel across the Street from St. Mary's Hospital (Mayo's Clinic) Most of you know Gary was diagnosed with critical heart failure and had a L-Vad (heart pump) surgically implanted in his left ventricle of his heart. November 19th 2015, for the purpose of improving his heart function, until a donor becomes available for a heart & kidney transplant.  We now must remain here in MN so he can attend dialysis daily to support his failing kidneys. We arrived here by air ambulance in mid-September, and are settling into our daily routines with assorted medical appointments, and dialysis. As the days became weeks, and now months, we have learned all life's journeys are not as we might have planned or expected. Now as we travel through this phase of our lives, we invite you, our family and friends, to join us from time to time with thoughts and story's and updates.
