2020 has definitely been a year highlighting that we do not know what tomorrow will bring. Thank goodness for that.

Recently, Gary started to not feel well.  On September 16, 2020 Gary was diagnosed with diffuse, large B Cell non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. This type of lymphoma is the most common, typically grows very fast, and  is treatable with a high cure rate. It is likely his lymphoma started just a few weeks ago. He will receive his first chemotherapy  treatment on September 18th.  We anticipate that Gary will receive outpatient chemo every 3 weeks through January 2021. Gary is true to form--optimistic, excited to start treatment right away, and appreciative of his four daughters and their families who provide tremendous encouragement and support for him. Hopefully by Spring 2021, his lymphoma will be cured and COVID will be tamed. God is good.
