On Saturday, April 6th Gary started complaining of stomach pain. I took him to the Frisco Urgent Care where they ran numerous test including a CT scan, and that is when they found a spot on his liver. They transferred him immediately to Baylor Scott and White in McKinney because there would be a GI doctor and Oncologist on call.  On Sunday they were able to determine that his stomach pain was due to bile being backed up into his GI tract. Also, on his liver were several tumors which was the cause of the bile ducts being backed up. The GI doctor has recommended an ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography) to add a stint to his liver to allow the bile to drain . During the ERCP they will also put in a port for future chemo treatments.
