At 2:30am on Wednesday September 9th, 2020, Garret was involved in a serious car accident.  As an unrestrained occupant in the car, he was thrown from the vehicle and found 20 feet.  Because of this, he has sustained a very serious traumatic brain injury, a fractured skull, fractured sterum, and a dislocated hip.  He was transported via ambulance to North Memorial where he underwent a craniotomy.  The craniotomy was performed to stop some bleeding in his brain and to help with the swelling.  His dislocated hip was manipulated back into place.

As of 9/11/2020,the intracranial pressures in his brain are steadily decreasing.  He is currently in a medically induced coma which is intended to help heal his brain as much as possible.
