It's been a couple of crazy days so finally getting around to a site so everyone can get the updates. Garrett Michael Gervais was born 1/12 at 7lbs 1oz. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with esophageal atresia (esophagus and stomach not connected). He was flown to Sioux Falls and admitted to Sanford's children's hospital. Yesterday 1/13 he had surgery to connect and the surgeon says all went well. We still don't have a lot of answers until next Friday when they do test. Until then we are relaxing in the NICU. A couple weeks here is the best case scenario that we obviously are hoping to reach. Keep Garrett in your prayers as he has been working hard already.
