On March 22nd during an examination Gail made a comment about feeling full. Within an hour she knew there was a mass present in her abdomin cavity and within days found out it was a tumor the size of a sheet of paper and 5 1/2 in. thick. A monster and cancerous! After many appointments, tests, and calls, Gail got a second opinion which got her in to Mayo at Rochester, MN and working with 3 surgical teams who have experience with this rare tumor. Now after many trips to Rochester, and scan after scan, and consults, Gail is within one week of surgery to remove the tumor. It will be about a 5 hour procedure with three surgical teams working in their respective fields on May 25th. Gail is in good spirits, and overall good health at this point. There are 5 more tests and consults to go on Monday, May23rd. She thanks you all for your prayers and support. Keep checking for updates.
