 Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  Adolph had a fall in his home on May 16.  He was admitted to El Camino Hospital because of breathing problems.  At one point during his stay at El Camino his condition was critical.  He was put on a breathing tube.  But fortunately Adolph has improved and is now at Cedar Crest Nursing and Rehab Center.  He is doing physical therapy and working hard to improve.  Adolph is still using a nasal cannula for oxygen in the daytime and a cpap machine at night. Adolph's doctors and therapists are working with him both to improve his ability to walk and to reduce his dependence on the breathing machines, so that he can resume at least some of his favorite activities.  You all know Adolph.  He loves to hear from his friends and family, whether by phone or through cards in the mail or by visits.
