Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.

Freya was born with Fibular Hemimelia. In her case, this means that she is missing her right Fibula which resulted in her having 2 adorable toes on her right foot and an unstable ankle joint which causes her foot to be angled up to her leg.
Doctors also noted that there were some anomalies that cause her to have intense painful bowel movements, as well as a possible tethered spinal cord. A few weeks after she was born Freya also started to develop a few beautiful angel kisses or Hemangiomas, which are being treated already.

Freya has already been through more than any child should have to go through but she doesn't let anything hold her back.
Our little miracle baby is already changing everyone around her for the better and we are so excited to go through this life with her.

We hope that by sharing her journey with you, Freya will be able to inspire you all to see the joy in life and to have strength even when you are tired.
