Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We really appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.

A little background on my current situation. In December 2014, my Family Practitioner ordered an MRI of my elbow. After receiving the results, I was referred to MUSC where, after numerous tests, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer on January 8, 2015. In September 2015, I received word the cancer was in remission. During this time I focused on rebuilding my stamina which greatly suffered during my chemo treatments. In late December 2016, a PET scan showed the lung lesion had become active again. This was especially hard after a taste of the active life of remission. I continue to receive treatment and fight this battle with both fists raised. My spirit remains high which is aided by your prayers and good wishes.I reflect daily on the encouragement I have received and appreciate your continued support. You all make this journey easier to complete!
