here's a little background. i began having stomach pain may 2017. now, after several months of testing, and some diagnosis twists and turns, it looks like i have 2 types of lymphoma. a "bulky" (20cm) mass of slow growing cancer- follicular lymphoma (FL) which has likely been there for years, with portions of the mass appearing to be a more aggressive type of lymphoma- diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). i begin chemo this week (called R-CHOP)- one treatment every 3 weeks until mid-march with a scan at the halfway point to see how it's going. wish me luck and hope to come out on the other side with a great new hairdo at long last!
