Frank Rorabaugh Frank's Healing Journey

On Jan 3rd, Frank was hunting and fell 15 feet from a tree stand when the ladder broke.  It was about 40 min of laying on the ground in 20' temps before rescue could get to him and take him to Liberty Hospital.  He broke both bones in his lower right leg, as well as in the ankle/foot with severe shattering.  Surgery was done fairly quickly to stabilize the leg and put on an external fixator with pins.  Pain is quite severe, so that is the immediate concern.  Long term recovery will be significant.  He will likely be in the hospital another couple of days, then home for 3 weeks or so to allow swelling to go down enough for additional surgeries at KU Med.

Kylea homeschools the 2 boys (11 and 8), works as a Licensed Professional Counselor, and is working on an additional certification, so this will add a huge layer of complexity with Frank's care.  We are thankful for a church family and police family who have come around with support and care already.  Also grateful for good insurance coverage!

We know God's got this and we are trusting Him for complete healing and better outcomes than anticipated.  Thank for praying for this family!
