Our bubba Franklin Martin was admitted to Yale Medical Center on his birthday June 16, 2017, and was diagnosed shortly thereafter with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Surgery was performed on June 20 that removed most of the tumor, but a long battle remains. Frank has handled his illness with superhuman strength, humor, grace and kindness.
