Frankie Genovese

Hi my name is Sue Genovese I’m Frankie’s mother. Here is his story: On 1/31/20 our lives changed. Frankie couldn’t sit right on the chair at dinner table.  I asked him a number of times to sit right and finally he told me his Nuts hurt. lol So me being his mom I looked and what I found was one of his  testicles was the size of a small lemon and was very heavy. So off we went to the AGH ER had a bunch of tests and was told to call a urologist on Monday. (I knew what it was at this point) so I got an appt on Monday. The Dr. wanted to give it 2 weeks to see if it would go down. Well it didn’t and on 2/25 Frankie had surgery to have one testicle removed. Dr. came out and told us it will take about a week to get the results. We asked what he thought and my heart sunk. The C work came up but let’s weight until the tests come back. I go the call and it was positive for cancer. So the surgeon set up the appts to see the oncologist at AGH.
