Welcome to Frank's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep our friends updated in one place. As many know, Frank has had multiple health concerns beginning in 2009. From 2009 to 2012, he had an illness called Failure to Absorb, which meant that his body was incapable of absorbing nutrition from food. For these three year, he had to be fed through Temporary Peritoneal Nutrition (an IV in his arm). In 2013, he fell from a ladder and broke his neck (C1, 2 and 3). His neck was stabilized with a titanium plate and rods that go from his skull to his mid back.

Last week, while riding his motorcycle, Frank spun out at a freeway exit in the desert and this has resulted in another hospital stay. He has a broken scapula, fractured T10 vertebrae, multiple broken ribs and bruised lungs with gathering fluid. He was air lifted to a hospital in Palm Springs where he remains.

Emily and I have been traveling back and forth to see him and sometimes  staying  in the desert, and that is why we have not been able to communicate with each of you as well as we would have liked to. We are so grateful for your many texts, calls and emails! They mean the world to us. We hope that by using CaringBridge our friends  will know exactly what to pray for.
