On 4/6/17 Frank was doing his usual putsy stuff on cars that he likes and helping others.  He was at a friend's house and removing ice from the snow that blocked a pole barn door.   He was getting ready to come home after saying hi to the neighbor and all of a sudden collapsed in the van and was found by one of our dear friend (who through the grace of God happened to come home from work early.  She found him within minutes of him collapsing.  She immediately called 911 and started CPR as best she could given the fact that he was in a peculiar position in the van.  He was slumped over onto the passenger seat.  The first responders arrived and continued CPR efforts and he was taken to the Hibbing Hospital.

While at Hibbing Hospital it was touch and go for a while as he continued to have stoppage of his heart 4 times and his oxygen levels were critically low.  When they finally stabilized him he was airflighted to Essentia St. Mary's in Duluth, MN.

He was put into a drug induced coma and placed on a respirator.  His body core temperature was cooled to minimize any brain swelling.

Your positive thoughts and prayers will be greatly appreciated.  We are praying for a miracle.
