Welcome to our Caring Bridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. After chemo and radiation I was cancer free in November. By February it had returned and was also on my pancreas. Chemo was started again. The first three rounds were brutal so we took a break and started again at a lower dose. It is going much better. I am on a bunch of supplements and medications. I will have a PET scan June 20 to see what the timers are doing. A CT scan that was recently done was inconclusive.
There is a song called Blessed be Your Name. One verse says Blessed be Your Name In the land that is plentiful, where Your streams of abundance flow. There is another verse that says Blessed be Your Name On the road marked suffering, though there is pain in the offering. When the darkness closes in Lord still I will say Blessed be Your Name. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He will see us through this no matter what the outcome
We have a wonderful support group in our church and are receiving lots of encouragement and prayer.
