Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. A few  months ago I began having difficulty  swallowing and burping. I thought it was acid reflux related.  An endoscopy was done and a mass was found at the end of my esophagus  It was biopsied and found to be cancer.   A  PET scan was performed and showed another possible tumor close to the first.  An ultrasound endoscopy was done and showed only one tumor.  That is a good thing.  There is no cancer anywhere else in my body.  Deb and I will meet with an oncologist Friday.

There is a song called Blessed be Your Name. One verse says Blessed be Your Name In the land that is plentiful, where Your streams of abundance flow.  There is another verse that says Blessed be Your Name  On  the road marked suffering, though there is pain in the offering. When the darkness closes in Lord still I will say Blessed be Your Name.  God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.  He will see us through this no matter what the outcome.

We have a wonderful support group in our church and are receiving lots of encouragement and prayer.
