I wanted to thank each one for accompanying me through this new chapter of a journey with cancer. For a little refresher...this is the continuing saga of the second cancer I have experienced which is, ovarian cancer now metastasized. The first cancer I experienced (breast cancer) is completely unrelated to the ovarian one. This is the third time ovarian cancer has returned, showing up again in December 2016 with tumors in the right chest cavity which has no surgical option this time like there was in 2015. I just finished radiation therapy to control the pain and shrink the tumors. Now another round of chemotherapy will start the first week of April. I am feeling overwhelmingly grateful for the outpouring of support from every direction and I feel very, very much loved.
The very positive, invaluable side of this journey is first...an Amazing Father God, walking alongside and ahead in the tomorrow. My hubby and precious kids......all of my families close and far. Friends that are like brothers and sisters. I am not alone. When one suffers everyone suffers. Is it scary? Sure thing! You never know how one's body will react to the onslaught of, a combination of, three new chemo drugs for treatment which I have never had before.
