On Monday, February 11, 2019, Francie went to the hospital complaining of feeling weak. After CAT scans and MRI's, a tumor was detected behind her right temporal lobe. She had surgery on February 19 to remove the tumor. After the pathology report was returned, Francie was diagnosed with Glioblastoma. Glioblastoma is a rare brain tumor with fewer than 200,000 cases per year. Luckily, it was caught very early. She will begin 6 weeks of chemo and radiation treatments on Monday, March 11, 2019.
We appreciate all the support of friends and family and will update this site as often as possible. We have set up a mealtrain for those of you wishing to take food to Jack and
