On September 22nd, Fletch underwent a long and difficult surgery to remove an aneurysm located near his kidneys. The surgery was high risk but given the increased threat of the aneurysm rupturing, the University of Wisconsin medical staff felt the time for the procedure had come. Although the 12 hour surgery had its setbacks, surgeons were able to successfully remove the aneurysm. The next days will be difficult for Fletch but with his strong will, talented surgical staff, and prayers from his friends and family, we are optimistic Fletch is on his way to recovery.
