Ginette Skoronski-Smith Fight with Ginette!

First post: Jul 25, 2020 Latest post: Aug 18, 2020
Our strong and beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend Ginette Skoronski-Smith suffered two debilitating strokes on Thursday July 9th requiring both a craniotomy and craniectomy to relieve swelling in her brain. Her condition remained touch and go in those first days, with left side paralysis and deficits in swallowing and communication. Anyone who knows her will typically describe her as fiercely loyal, trustworthy, giving, funny, honest and above all else, a FIGHTER!  Most of her fighting spirit has been directed toward others in the past. From fighting for justice for her murdered sister, fighting for custody of her sisters children, fighting for the ability to effectively care for her father after his traumatic brain injury, fighting to get quality care for her mother during her illnesses to fighting back tears as her mother lost her battle and passed away during this pandemic. Ginette is now fighting for her own recovery, fighting to regain her cognitive abilities, her speech, her swallowing and her independence. Please help us fight with her in any way you are able!
