Fern has been fighting (successfully) 4th stage metastatic breast cancer since 2007 (9 years). At this stage Fern has cancer in her lungs and liver. This makes it difficult for her to breathe and creates great pressure on her heart as she has less oxygen flowing through her body. This Caring Bridge site has been set up by myself, her sister, Tamara Greenberg - in order to coordinate (and appreciate) any help that we could get from her community in Thousand Oaks (particularly friends at Aspen Elementary School and Thousand Oaks High School). Zoe is a ninth grader at Thousand Oaks and Reef is a fifth grader at Aspen Elementary. We need help with carpooling in the afternoons. Your help is so greatly appreciated at this time!
