On August 3rd Felisha was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. This devastating news was a shock to Felisha, Bobby, family and friends. Over the last few weeks, Felisha and Bobby have met with the University of Michigan doctors and received news that she can have surgery which is scheduled on Wednesday, August 31st. Felisha will also have to undergo chemotherapy treatments. This is positive news for patients diagnosed with pancreatic center. In addition, she has taken her own steps to find alternative medical methods to fight this disease.
Felisha is an amazing women, mother, wife and friend. She is working hard to be strong for Sierra, Troy and Devon. When we talk, I am sure she is same with all her dear friends, she has her times of sadness, coupled with being positive and being scared, as we all are.
Remember that a gesture of friendship, no matter how small, is always appreciated. Please continue to keep Felisha in your prayers.
