In October, Fay received preliminary test results indicating stage IV adenocarcinoma, with an unknown primary origin. Adenocarcinoma starts in the glands that line the inside of one of the organs and is often inoperable. That's the bad news. The good news is we feel very fortunate to be part of such a close network of family and friends. We know Fay will have a lot of support going forward. Her oncologist is at the Mayo Clinic, but she will do chemo treatments in Willmar. Thank you for visiting this page and for your well wishes. If you know our mom, you know that cancer has nothing on her spunk, positive outlook and unrelenting spirit.
