Faye Jones

We have created a CaringBridge website for Faye Jones, wife of Rick Jones, www.Caringbridge.org/visit/fayejones2 (http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/fayejones2) . We are using it to keep family and friends updated and to plead for some financial assistance or assistance in housing.   We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. I first met Rick when we took him hunting with Texas Hunters for Heroes. He and his wife have known each other over 22 years. Rick was in the Marines for 15 years and 10 months, until he was injured on 8-22-07 byt a roadside IED.   He was with the 2nd Marines Special Operations Battalion.  We are trying to raise money to have a house to stay in.  About  7 months ago, Faye was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Cancer of the lung.  Rick was working full time, but due to Faye's physical and medical needs, Rick had to take time off work.  He had over 288 hours of paid time off, but was let go due to having to take time for Faye.   Rick is also a Marine Veteran They have gone through savings and all their checking account finances and are being evicted from their house tomorrow.  Faye has been in the hospital recently and after being on deaths door and told nothing could be done , Rick kept digging and found a doctor and got her to  Presbyterian in Dallas.  Just last Friday, her lung was removed, and Rick is being told that with Radiation, Faye may make a recovery.  Faye is going to be discharged from the hospital tomorrow, only to face being evicted and having no where to live.  Please, share this website and donate or if you know of someone that can offer a home to rent, anything will be helpful.  A go fund me account has been set up if would like to donate:   gofundme.com/faye-jones
