Evelyn Dugan

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  Please note WE ARE NOT asking for donations, just want to keep you updated and have a way for you to share your thoughts with us and Mom (Evelyn).  We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Evelyn Dugan was in a severe car accident on December 5, 2016.  Her car was hit on (her) driver's side by a fully loaded cement truck.  Miraculously, she survived.  She lost a lot of blood which caused great trauma to her body.  She also has many broken bones and bruised internal organs, including a fractured skull and pelvis, as well as many ribs and her sternum.  Her spleen was removed to stop some of the bleeding.  She  is on a respirator because of collapsed lungs and the broken ribcage.

She is not conscious, but despite her injuries and trauma and being 86 years old, she is actually progressing.  Evelyn has many beloved friends and family who we know are praying for her and anxious to follow her progress.  It is for this reason we have started this webpage
